  Question:1.could i have it with 16 gb ram and 256 gb storage? 2.is it true that the 256 gb disk is slower than the 512 gb disk?

  Answer:Yes to both of your questions. This MacMini can be specced with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the 256GB configuration is slower than 512GB because it only uses one SSD chip instead of two so the memory bandwidth is half that of the 512GB.
